My Services
At this time, my caseload is full. However, I am excited to share that I am able to take on new clients interested in working in a short-term, intensive format. Want to learn more about what that means? Read below to see if a therapy intensive might be the right fit for you.
Update
Therapy Intensives
If you’ve been in therapy previously, you may have had this experience…
You’re 40 minutes into a session and you just started to feel comfortable enough to open up about something important. You’re eyeing the clock and wondering, is there enough time to get into this? Do I really want to go there with only 5 minutes left in the session? Is it better to just rush through it? But what if I start to feel overwhelmed? What if I don’t have enough time to recover?
The truth is: most of the problems we bring to therapy aren’t meant to be contained in a one-hour format. Therapy intensives are designed to remove the time pressure from therapy, allowing you to go deeper – faster. By extending the session time and reducing the overall length of treatment, you finally have the space you need to focus on making meaningful changes.
Individual Therapy
It can be daunting to start the process of therapy, and it is never lost on me how vulnerable it is to share your struggles with a perfect stranger. Whether you are currently experiencing a crisis, struggling with ongoing insecurities, or ready to take charge of your future, individual therapy can be an empowering place to develop a deeper, more trusting relationship with yourself. Couples Therapy
It’s normal to experience periods of disconnection in relationships. Couples therapy can be a space to rediscover what is special about your partnership, what patterns may be getting in the way of your connection, and how to get your needs met in relationship with each other. By using an emotionally-focused approach to couples therapy, my aim is to get beneath the surface to the core of the cyclical conflicts you may find yourself in.
EMDR/Trauma Therapy
If you experienced events that left you emotionally scarred, therapy can often be an essential step towards healing. As a trauma-informed therapist, I utilize modalities, including EMDR, designed to help clients get unstuck from negative beliefs, emotions, and body sensations associated with their trauma. Group Therapy
Participating in a group can be a transformative experience. In groups, members have the opportunity to be seen more fully by others who share their struggles. I offer short-term groups at various times throughout the year on subjects related to anxiety, wellness, trauma, and parenting. Click below to see which groups may be running soon.
Clinical Supervision
If you are a therapist in private practice, you don’t have to do it all alone. I provide monthly supervision to therapists looking to deepen their therapeutic instincts surrounding trauma, couples, and EMDR. Whether you are looking to increase your skills in a given modality or have a more urgent need to address around a case, I’m here to help.
